Management Team

 

Varun Khurana, Co-founder and CEO

Varun is responsible for the overall strategy and functioning of the company. His zeal to achieve the toughest targets, strong organizational skills and dynamic leadership qualities have brought Wirkle from its modest beginnings to one of the most well known mobile software development companies in the world today.

Prior to founding Wirkle, he worked for 5 years as a lead engineer at Network Appliance, California leading development of its data replication products. He is a Computer Science graduate from IIT Delhi. He has several US patents and international research publications to his credit. He is extremely passionate about long distance running and runs in the Delhi Marathon every year.

Sunil Goyal, Co-founder and CTO

Sunil heads the technology and R&D innovation at Wirkle. A geek by passion, he exudes a unique ability to resolve any complex technology problem known to mankind within minutes. His relentless efforts towards implementing the latest tools and development practices have made Wirkle as one of the bleeding edge technology companies on the face of the planet. He is a open source contributor and founded the Delhi chapter of Mobile Monday Delhi.

Prior to founding Wirkle, he worked as a researcher at Salzburg Research in Austria. He graduated in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi. He is passionate about gadgets and loves reading.

Lomesh Dutta, Co-founder and COO

Lomesh heads the business development and product usability practice at Wirkle. A perfectionist by religion he possesses a zeal for minuteness. His vision and understanding of the mobile domain has enabled us to churn out products that rakes awe from the thought leaders of the industry.

In his previous life he worked as a business consultant at Kleinfelder in California wherein he was instrumental in setting up their Intellectual Property division. Prior to that he held roles as Research Associate at NASA's Systems and Controls Laboratory. He is an engineering major from Delhi College of Engineering and holds a MS from University of New Mexico, USA. He is passionate about racing cars and loves skydiving.
